Despite the Global Financial Crisis: TASNEE Increases its profits 158% in the 3rd Quarter 2009

TASNEE has achieved a net profit of SR237.3 million in the third quarter ending in 30 September 2009 with 158.2% increase comparing with the net profit of the second quarter ending in 30 June 2009, and with 58.3% increase comparing with the third quarter of last year.
The total net profit of the 9 months period ending in 30 September 2009 is SR303.5 million, comparing with SR518.9 million for the same period of last year with a decrease of 41.5%, because of the production decrease and low prices for some products.
TASNEE has announced that as its board held its fourth meeting in the location of CRISTAL Global, in Yanbu industrial city, after a pre-planned tour of the board members in CRISTAL factories to see the developments in both products and quality.
CRISTAL Global is one of TASNEE affiliates which has a prominent importance in TASNEE vision for diversifying the national economy as it is the unique producer of Titanium Dioxide in the region and the second largest producer of it in the world.
