Dr. Moayyad Issa Al-Qurtas, vice chairman and chief executive of Tasnee was honored with the award of the best CEO in the industrial sector for 2009. This award is usually granted by the jury of the CEO Magazine Middle East, which is published by (ITP) company. This was announced in an award ceremony that tool place in Riyadh on Sunday 22/3/2009 at the Intercontinental Hotel, as confirmed by Hassan Abdulrahman, editor –in- chief of the magazine. He reiterated that this award is granted to Qertas for the tremendous achievements of the company over the year 2008 and early 2009 under his leadership, despite of the world sluggish economy and financial crisis which plagued petrochemicals industry.
