Tasnee gets ISO certification for laboratories quality

The National Industrialization Company (Tasnee) got ISO (ISO IEC 17025) certification on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 for the general requirements for the competence of the labs, test labs, measurement and calibration, after it has been approved by one of the most prestigious accreditation entities in the world, the International Accreditation Service (IAS) which is based in the United States.

This certificate is considered to be a remarkable achievement added to Tasnee achievements, which assure laboratories efficiency, the continuous improvement of its administrative performance and technical support.

This reflects the hard work and sincere efforts made by the Company’s team of the Laboratory Quality Control, which implements comprehensive quality management system that has been designed specifically for laboratories. Such an accreditation means a new challenge facing the company’s laboratories, that can leads to enhances their accuracy of the tests results and to emphasize the more accurate they meet according to the international standards.

Al-Bibi added that there no doubt that such evaluation would improve the quality level of in all areas of production within the company, which proves our strong commitment towards operational excellence and innovation in petrochemical industry by exporting to the world.

Tasnee has been committed over the course of its work for more than a quarter of a century the application of industrial safety international standards, recording high number of working hours free from work-related injuries, getting the certificate of ISO 18001in Professional Health and Safety Systems, getting the certificate of ISO 14001 in Environment Management Systems, getting ISO 9001 for Quality Management and got a first place award as the best environmental performance for the years 2011, 2012 from the Royal Commission of Jubail.
