BATTARIAT is one of the largest manufacturers of automotive batteries in the Middle East. It is the first company to manufacture automotive batteries in Saudi Arabia. The plant was established in 1996 and commercial production commenced in 1998 with technical cooperation with VARTA AG, Germany.
The company produces high quality automotive batteries with an annual production capacity of the more than 2.350.000 batteries. The range includes sealed maintenance free batteries (SMF), and dry charged batteries, for all types of vehicles, in accordance with the Japanese, European and American standards, to meet the local, GCC and international markets requirements. Battariat products namely NBC, ACTRON Plus, and IGNITER brands have been accredited by SASO (Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization) quality Mark.
