The company was established in 1986, with German and Saudi Capital of 75% for Saudi side and 25% for German side. It embraces The National Industrialization Company and the National Operation and Industrial Services Company at one side and the German company TUV-NORD International at the other side. The company practices its operations and business in the GCC, and has a subsidiary in Bahrain under the name (TUV-ME), and a head office in Abu Dhabi with branches in Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait and Syria.
The company plays a key role in the local market, especially after globalization of quality and entering of Saudi Arabia into WTO agreement and opening up of the markets.
The company also plays a key role in serving the vital industrial and service sectors, including some large-scale companies such as SABIC, Saudi ARAMCO, Saudi Electricity Company and desalinating plants. The company also plays a role in the social program responsibility through conducting of technical tests to ensure safety of structures and workers. An example is ensuring the high qualilty of the amusement parks and elevators.
