After the success of the partnership and cooperation agreement between Tasnee and Eta’am last year aimed at securing sustainable food for 62 beneficiary families, the two parties signed a new partnership agreement for the second consecutive year on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Eta’am’s headquarters in Dammam. The new agreement was signed by Mr. Faisal Al-Shoushan, CEO of Eta’am, and Mr. Hatim Al-Shammari, Manager of Tasnee Corporate Communications. The agreement includes Tasnee’s contribution to the Food Insurance Program (Takaful Eta’am) by securing sustainable food for 107 families for a full year by providing 1,292 food baskets to be distributed on a regular monthly basis to eligible families.
For his part, Mr. Hatim Al-Shammari expressed his happiness to be at “Eta’am” headquarters, where he was shown the method of preparing food baskets and distributing them to the beneficiaries. He highlighted that due to the success of the partnership last year, the agreement witnessed an increase in reaching 107 beneficiary families in the 2nd year. That reflects the confidence and pride of Tasnee and its employees in this partnership, and their keenness to support society by providing sustainable and regular food to the eligible beneficiaries.
This agreement came as part of Tasnee’s efforts to ensure commitment and contribution financially and through human resources to community service. That enhances the company’s rich record of social responsibility for more than 37 years, in which the company has played a prominent role in community service, not less important than its role in developing the national economy and diversifying its resources.
