FAHSS signs a Partnership Contract with Qassim Municipality for Privatizing and Improving Municipal Inspection

In the presence of HE the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Mr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail and Mr. Mutlaq bin Hamad Al-Morished, TASNEE CEO and Mr. Saeed bin Ahmed Al-Ajrafi, VP – Downstream, the contract of Privatizing and Improving the Municipal Inspection Project in Qassim – Buraida has been signed in partnership with National inspection and Technical Testing company (FAHSS), Tasnee affiliate, for a period of 5 years.

The contract has been signed by the Mayor of Al-Qassim Municipality Eng. Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Mejally, and Mr. Saleh bin Homoud Al-Suwaiti, FAHSS CEO.

The Privatizing and Improving the Municipal Inspection Project, aims to implement field monitoring work on the public health sectors and commercial markets, and contribute to raising compliance rates in commercial establishments, and relying on clarity in the integrity of procedures according to the appropriate checklists. Additionally, the project will support in providing new job opportunities for the sons and daughters of the region and ensuring optimal use For human and technical resources.

The project comes within the ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing plans to achieve the transformation strategy to privatize 70% of the municipal portfolio by 2030, in partnership between the public and private sectors, in order to achieve the directives of the Saudi government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince.

The partnership will positively contribute to raising the compliance rates of establishments by 90% as a result of the professional methodology used for the methods of field monitoring operations, which will improve the facilities’ compliance rates and contribute to raising the life quality rates within the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

It is noteworthy that the project of implementing municipal inspection work in Qassim aims to record more than 320,000 visits to private sector facilities in the health sectors and commercial markets over the next five years, as part of the Municipality’s plans to develop urban development programs and improve the level of municipal services provided to raise of life quality level for the residents and visitors of Qassim - Buraidah.
