Tasnee CISO discusses the Cybersecurity Issues in the Black Hat event

Eng. Fawaz Al-Malki, Tasnee Chief Information Security Officer, participated on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in a Discussion Panel on cybersecurity, as part of the Black Hat event, held within Riyadh Season. It was organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and Informa, in partnership with the General Entertainment Authority, from November 15 to 17, 2022.

In the session, Eng. Fawaz discussed cybersecurity issues in the oil and gas industry and the nature of the threats it faces worldwide like hacking and phishing, and the ways of facing them.

The Black Hat event is the largest event in the region and the most prominent event concerned with cybersecurity. It attracted about 200 of the most famous speakers, in the presence of more than 250 cybersecurity leading companies, and it targeted about 30,000 visitors.

Eng. Fawaz Al-Malki is considered one of the speakers in the field of cybersecurity, as he presented many awareness lectures inside and outside the company including an awareness online lecture for all Tasnee employees, in addition to the awareness course he presented for the benefit of 100 Saudi university students.
