As part of FAHSS strategy to enhance local content to be an independent national certification body recognized nationally and internationally for issuing management system certification without depending on any third party, National Inspection and Testing Company (FAHSS) got accredited by the Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) for ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Fahss also got the approval of Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) under the category of «Food Certification Management System».
The accreditation processes of both authorities included a rigorous evaluation of Fahss policies, procedures, systems, and team competences. Over the past 6 months, Fahss management and related teams have strived to cooperate and dedicate efforts to meet the requirements and exceed the standards.
FAHSS CEO Mr. Saleh Al Suwaiti, extended his appreciation to the Certification Team’s hard work and dedication to achieve this remarkable accomplishment, which is part of the company strategy as an independent national certification body to be authorized for issuing management system certification under SAAC accreditation and to be approved by SFDA of Food Safety Management System.
