On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, Tasnee received a VIP delegation from Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI), the leading international manufacturer of Titanium Alloy products, headed by Mr. Robert S. Wetherbee, Chairman and CEO of the company, in presence of Eng. Asaad Aljomoai, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Investment, as part of the Ministry’s efforts led by H.E. the Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al Faleh, to activate the tripartite investment cooperation agreement that was signed last February 2023 between the Ministry of Investment, Tasnee and The Boeing Company, to develop the Aviation Titanium Value Chain and aviation industry in KSA.
The visit agenda included Tasnee headquarters in Riyadh, where the delegation met with Tasnee CEO Mr. Mutlaq Al Morished, the EVP Metallurgy Dr. Fadi Trabzuni, and GM, Metallurgy Business Planning Eng. Muataz Ezzi. The visit agenda also included the Titanium Sponge plant in Yanbu and the Titanium Smelter in Jazan.
It’s worth mentioning that Tasnee had signed an investment cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Investment and The Boeing Company, aimed at developing the Titanium Value Chain and exploring potential investment and collaboration opportunities under the sponsorship of H.E. Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al Faleh, and attended by H.E. Chairman of Tasnee Eng. Mubarak Al Khafrah and the executive management of the company, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Investment in Riyadh on February 26, 2023.
