High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is one of the most widely used thermoplastic polymers, produced by the polymerization of ethylene. It possesses good impact strength in spite of its low strength and ductility and is also known for its chemical resistance properties. HD Polyethylene has a typical density of more than 0.941 g/(cm)^3and is used to produce pipes, films, shopping bags, containers, drums, cans, caps and closures, toys, etc. Its versatile properties make it popular in the packaging, construction, infrastructure, consumer and personal care, and home care industries.

Tasnee uses the Advanced Cascade Process (ACP) for the manufacture of HDPE. This technology is the most advanced version of the Hostalen Slurry Process used to produce multi modal high-density polyethylene resins for pipe and non-pipe grades.
